He passed away at his home, 100 Maple Avenue, at 10:30 Monday night after
sufferring several years from heart trouble. For the past few weeks he
has been feeling badly but on Monday was up and seemed better than
usual, until in the evening when he was taken with a worse form of his
trouble which proved fatal. For over twenty years Mr. Corbut has resided in Montrose and during all of that time has been engaged in the bee business in which he made
quite a success. Last summer he realized that he could not live until next year so he made a special effort to get his bees in the best condition Possible and to leave his business so it could be carried on successfully after his death. In business and social circles he has been thought of very highly and his death is a blow not only to his family
but to his friends and acquaintances as well.
