She was born July 1, 1935, in Warren, the daughter of Michael ''Micky'' and Mary Ference Pleyvak.
She was a 1953 graduate of St. Mary's High School, and was the former co-owner of the Ideal Department Store in downtown Niles for 25 years. She retired from Ames Department Store in Niles as a sales clerk after eight years.
She was a member of Believers' Christian Fellowship Church.
Rose was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren, and was an animal lover.
Survivors include her children, John M. of Kan., Michael W. Fla., Robert of Ohio and Diana of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, William ''Bud" Mich.; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Astemborski of Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Gary Blair; an infant brother, Stephen Plevyak; and an infant sister, Diane Plevyak.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
