[Lois's father] John Dillon, Born in Brooklyn, where he spent his younger years in Brooklyn. He played baseball for a local team. He contacted Meningitis early in life leaving him deaf. John attended Deaf School in NYC, Saint Joseph school for the deaf, Bronx NY. Here he met and married Florence Riddell. Florence passed away 6 months later. John married Olive Simnett in Media, Pa, 1928. Olive and John had a long and Happy marriage raising 8 children together. Of those eight children only two still survive into 2020, they are William B-1941 , and Lois B-1943. All 6 other children have passed. All of their Children were born in Philadelphia. John worked at Boeing, most of his life. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by all. "Dominus Vobiscum"
