Stricken with apoplexy Wednesday afternoon while she was sitting on the front porch of her home at Port Neches, Mrs. J.A. Jamison, 52, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, three hours after relatives found her lying unconscious on the porch. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, in Port Neches, with Rev. W.E. Hessler, pastor of the Port Neches M.E. church, officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery, Beaumont, with members of the Port Neches Order of Eastern Star chapter conducting the services. During the past 10 years that Mrs. Jamison had resided in Port Neches, she was actively engaged in church work and was a member of the Pythian Sisters, and the Order of the Eastern Star. her husband is carpenter foreman at the Pure Oil company's refinery, and surviving besides the husband are a son by a former marriage, James C Koy; two brothers in San Antonio; a sister in Houston; and two grandchildren.
