Clyde E. Hinkle, age 85, went peacefully to sleep on Thursday, November 24, 2011 and woke in Heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Those who knew Clyde, knew that he was a precious father, grandfather, and great grandfather. No matter what, he always loved his family. He always lived a true Christian life and tried to lead the lost to Jesus. Clyde is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hinkle; daughter Shirley Rutter; and son Wayne Hinkle.
He is survived by his daughters: Diane Montgomery, husband Gene; Carolyn Shaver, and Barbara Cox. Sons: Carl Hinkle, wife Angie; and Ernest Hinkle. Grandchildren: Brian, Tina, Gina, Sherman, Thomas, Brandon, Adam, Tabitha, Courtney, and Chloe. Great grandchildren: Josh, Kiara, Shawna, Kara, Riley, Christian, Gavin, Rachel and Adam, Jr.
The family would like to express a special thank you to, Regina, Freyda, Iva, and Margaret for all of their care, support, and prayers.
A funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, November 27, 2011 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Crusenberry officiating.
The burial will follow in Shipley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Brian Shaver, Brandon Hinkle, Adam Hinkle, Jimmy Hinkle, Terry Snapp, Sammy Price, Josh Taylor, and Jeff Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm Saturday evening at the funeral home
