GASPORT — A 25 - year resident of Gasport and a veteran of World War I, Earl R. McKee, 69, of the Rochester Road, died today (Aug. 17, 1962) at Medina Memorial Hospital.
A retired employe of the Friend Manufacturing Co. and custodian at the Royalton -Hartland Central School, Mr. McKee was born in Cuttsville. Oct. 24, 1893, son of
Mr. and Mrs. William McKee.
He was a past commander of Gasport American Legion Post 1253 and a member of the Gasport Congregational Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lena; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Thaxter. Mrs. Shirley Yanacki
and Mrs. Barbara Bernard, all of Middleport, and Mrs. Audrey Warner of Gasport; our sons, Charles and Warren of Middleport and Darwin and Jerry of Gasport; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Mayne of Gasport and Mrs Eva Fite of Batavia; two brothers, Francis McKee of Gasport and the Rev. William McKee of Marion, Iowa; also 16 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bream Funeral Home, Main Street, Gasport, tomorrow and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Norman Boley will officiate.

Since there is not a good way to link adopted children to both families, I have linked Earl to his biological mother and adoptive father so he shows up in both families.
