John Ed Morgan, 71, prominent farmer of Belspring, died at a Roanoke hospital Thursday night following a short illness.
Mr. Morgan, who was well known and admired throughout this section, was a prominent churchman, being superintendent of the Belspring Sunday school.
Mrs. Morgan preceded her husband to the grave five months ago.
Mr. Morgan is survived by the following children: Till Morgan, Salem; Brown Morgan and John Morgan, Radford; Lucille Morgan, Belspring; Mrs. Curtis Brown, Clifton Forge; and Miss Mary Morgan, Roanoke.
