DEATH OF MRS. GEORGE BLACK
A Respected Resident of West Madison
Mrs. George Black, Sr., of West Madison, died at twenty minutes after nine o'clock Sunday morning, after an illness which began at six o'clock Friday evening. The cause of her death was Bright's desease of acute form. Her maiden name was Martha Alice Kennison, and she was in the fifty-third year of her age. Her husband, who was a well known carpenter, died several years ago. The surviving children are three sons--George, Samuel and Chant, and one daughter, Mrs. William Moore. Mrs. Black was a good neighbor, a loving mother, and a member of the Christian church in good standing. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon at two o'clock and the burial will be in Springdale cemetery.
