Alfred Robison, 60, of Macon, Mo. and a former area resident, died Thursday at Macon County Hospital after an illness of four months.

Mr. Robison was born Aug. 15, 1904, in Creal Springs, the son of Tom D. and Lizzie Steiger Robison. He was married April 23, 1927, in Elkville, to Mamie Nehring. They had lived in Macon 30 years.

Mr. Robison was a coal miner. He was a member of Censor Lodge 172, AF&AM of Macon, Immanuel Commandery of Macon, Chapter RAM of Macon, Ararat Shrine of Kansas City, Mo., Censor Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star of Macon, and White Shrine of Moberly, Mo. He was a member of the Christian Church in Macon.

Mr. Robison leaves his wife; sons, Robert of Shelvina, Mo., andCarol of Springfield, Mo.; a brother, illiam of Hurst; sisters, Mrs. Ada Colp of Elkville, Mrs. Clara Sullivan of Marion, Mrs. Lela Russell of Martin and Mrs. Elsie Ragsdale of DeSoto.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home, Ava. Rev. William G. Fox, pastor of First Baptist Church, Ava, will officiate. Burial will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
