Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava for Mrs. Minnie McBride, 73-year-old Ava resident who died Thursday. Rev. William Fox and Rev. Lloyd Aud will officiate. Burial will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. McBride died in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro, after an illness of 18 months.

She was born March 28, 1891, in Kinkaid Townshp, the daughter of Willis and Matilda Austin Bilderback. She was married May 31, 1917, in Chester, to Alonzo McBride, who died in 1958.

Mrs. McBride was a member of the Ava Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Willa Scaglione of O'Fallon; sons, Ardell of Rockford, Wendell of St. Louis, Mo., and Norman of Joliet; 15 grandchildren and dix great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Della Manor of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Eunice Williamson of Ava; and a brother, Alva Bilderback of East St. Louis.

One son, four brothers and two sisters all preceded her in death.
