Anna E. Galloway Is Dead at Age 81
Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Galloway, 81, formerly of 1412 Byron, died Wednesday in the Methodist Home, where she had lived since May 8, 1967.
Mrs. Galloway was born April 21, 1887, near Holton, and moved to Topeka with her parents at an early age.
She was a member of the University Methodist Church, Christian Social Relations; Women's Society of Christian Service, Anna Gordon Women's Christian Temperance Union, Sunnyside Club and the Topeka Flower Lovers' Club.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Frank Rainey, 2717 Michigan, and several cousins.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Galloway will lie in state in Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary until the service time.
