VAN BUREN - Ernest Butler, 80, a former resident of Rt. 1, Yan Buren, died Wednesday at Huntington County Hospital. Mr. Butler had lived in Huntington for two weeks.
He was born in Van Buren Township and was a life resident there. He belonged to the Central Christian Church and the Black Creek Conservation Club, both of Van Buren. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include the widow, Myrle; one brother, Edward Butler, Big Long Lake, Ind., and one sister, Mrs. Gladys Rinearson, Marion.
Funeral services were held Friday in the Ferguson Funeral Home, Van Buren, with Rev. David Cracken officiating. Burial was made in the Van Buren Masonic Cemetery.
