Donald Ralph Wilding, 91, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away November 23, 2011, at Bonaventure of Idaho Falls of causes incident to age.

Don was born September 16, 1920, in Rexburg, Idaho, to George David Wilding and Florence Hill Wilding. He grew up in Medicine Lodge and attended schools there.

Don proudly served his country as a Signalman First Class in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

He married Nedra Jeannette Miller Jan 3, 1966 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Don worked as a plumber for American Plumbing and later opened his own business, Wilding Plumbing and Heating.

Don was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed cutter racing, hunting, fishing, and especially his dog, Ben.

Don is survived by his loving wife of over 45 years, Jeannette,
Son: Randall (Bernae) Wilding of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter: Sherrie (Jerry) Virgin of Rexburg, ID;
Daughter: Kristine Forman of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son: Tracy (Rachel) Wilding of Olympia, WA;
Stepdaughter: Rebecca Ann "Becky" Cortapossi of Sacramento, CA;
Stepdaughter, Linda Elaine (Bill) Holmes of Idaho Falls, ID;
Stepson, Jack Walter (Rhea) Bowman of Coeur d'Alene, ID;
17 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, three sisters,
Luella Park, Ida Emery, and Phyllis Eldridge, five brothers, Ben Wilding, Dewayne Wilding, George Wilding, Wallace Wilding, and Arnold Wilding.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011, at the Idaho Falls LDS Coltman First Ward, 12448 North 5th East. The family will visit with friends from 12 to 12:45 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Madison County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
