This stone is a few feet to the left of the stone for William Samuel Newton, 1881-1884, but it faces the opposite direction. An iron fence that encloses graves of Warren Lezair Newton, his wife, his son Olin Wilson Newton, and some other graves, stands a few inches in front of the broken stone.

June 26, 2013: Marvin Newton confirmed that James Stradford and Lenora had a son Calhoun of about these dates. Calhoun suffocated while playing in a pile of cotton.
