Mrs. Edith E. Ade, 65, of Rt. 9, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in Lesley Nursing Home, Buck Creek, where she had been a patient two years. Born in Wallace, she was married in 1928 to William Ade Jr., who died in 1950.

She was a housewife and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, just southeast of Otterbein, and the Ladies Aid Society of the church. Surviving are a son, Paul W of Rt. 9, and a half-sister, Mrs. Elsie Allen of Hillsboro. Parents on death certificate listed as Isiah Whitman and Sarah Ann Smiley Whitman.
