She was married to Emmanuel Haney for 26 years. He preceded her in death in 1955. She was later married to Eli Baker, who preceded her in death in 1969. She was also preceded by her parents; a grandson, Bruce; one sister and two half-sisters.
Surviving are her daughters, Madge Hayes of Ellis Prairie and Bettye Hayes of Houston; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and one step-great-great-grandchiId; one brother, Elbert Upton of Bucyrus; and one sister, Opal Scott of Granger, Iowa.
She spent her lifetime in Texas County. She did babysitting for people in the community.
Services were Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
