Funeral services were held this afternoon for Marvin H. Spancake of Paradise, Pine Grove RD 2, who died in an automobile accident on route 22 near Jonestown on Saturday morning.
Spancake was a veteran of World War II and was affiliated with Pine Grove post 374 of the American Legion. He was a longtime employee of the Pine Grove plant of the Fox-Knapp Manufacturing Company.
The funeral took place from the Snyder Funeral Home, Pine Grove, with interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove. The Rev. Max Nuscher pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Pine Grove conducted the services.
