Olive Puckett was born 1804 in Wayne Co.,IN a daughter of Isom and Sallie (Lane) Puckett. She married John Diggs on Nov. 6,1824 at White River Friends Meeting. They were the parents of one known daughter Harriett.

The dates were uncut on the stone at the cemetery.

In the 1820 census Isom Puckett was a farmer yet before the year was out he became a Quaker Minister. He was the minister at the Dunkirk Friends Meeting for 36 years at the time of his death in 1856. (According to the History of the Dunkirk church.) After his death the church itself died.

(Olive was the mother of Pleasant 1824, Harriet "Hattie" 1825-1897, Emily 1831-1899, Lydia 1834-1931, David 1836, Daniel 1837-1877, Lavina 1840-1855 and William C. 1843-1931.)
