Born in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Tench Charles Coxe, Jr. and Frances (Huger) Coxe and wife of the late Nelson Page who died in 1992.
Mrs. Page was a graduate of Chatham Hall High School in Chatham, VA, attended Sweet Briar Collage in Sweet Briar, VA and graduated from Guilford College in Guilford, NC.
She was a member of the Tryon Antique Club and Red Fox Country Club. Mrs. Page was also active in Girl Scouts in Polk County, NC. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Tryon, and the Buncombe Committee of the National Society of Colonial Dames of America.
Surviving are three sons, Hugh N. Page of CA, Tench C. Page of Reno, NV, and Thomas N. Page of Marietta, GA; two daughters, Courtney P. Alarcon of Reno, NV, and Sallie P. Phelan of Charleston, SC; one brother, Tench C. Coxe, III of France. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 12:00 at St. Francis Episcopal Church, Rutherfordton, NC.
