Opal Harris, 77, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011.
She was born Wednesday, January 17, 1934, in Whitley City, KY, daughter of the late Arless and Alma (Abbott) Lawson.
She is survived by her husband, Marion Harris; son, Jeff (wife Rose) Harris; daughter, Karen (husband Vincent) Orchelle; 2 brothers, Robert Lawson, and Dale Lawson; 4 sisters, Brenda Murray, Teresa West, Glenda Franks, and Sandra Trammel; 8 grandchildren, Kelly, Brandon, Nathan, Steve, Victoria, Skyler, Erin, and Jessica; and 2 great grandchildren, Tiffany, and Bryson.
She was preceded in death by her son Paul Harris.
Friends will be received Friday, March 11, 2011 from 5pm to 8pm at the Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11am.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
