GUY MOREHEAD, FARMER, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY TUESDAY

Stricken While Getting Mail, Manages To Get to House before Dying; Funeral Friday

Guy Morehead, well known farmer of the Chatsworth vicinity died suddenly at his home shortly afternoon Tuesday from a heart attack.

Mr. Morehead had been in his usual Health and about noon Tuesday he Went after the mail. He was stricken with a heart attack but was able to reach home and he passed away shortly after he entered the house.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon of Akron.

Guy Morehead was past 47 years of age. He grew up in the Adaville vicinity in Plymouth county. He was united in marriage with Ida Hummel of Westfield. Following his marriage for many years he lived in the Westfield and Akron vicinity. Later he moved onto a farm about six miles southwest of Chatsworth and two or three years ago he moved onto what is known as the Harvey Hansen farm, southwest of Hawarden. Last spring he moved back to the Chatsworth vicinity, living on a farm about a mile southwest of that place.

He leaves to mourn his untimely death his wife and eight children. The children Are Robert, Helen, Keith, Dorothy, Mary Lou, James, Clifford, And Jo Ann. He is also survived by Several sisters and brothers. One Brother, Claire Morehead, resides at Akron.

Funeral services will be held for Guy Morehead, 42, of Akron, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morehead of Adaville, at the Methodist church in Akron on Friday at 2:30.

Mr. Morehead died suddenly Tuesday morning of a heart attack. Mr. Morehead is a cousin of Mrs. Joy Perry of this city.
