Terrence A. Boyer
Services will be Monday for Terrence Alan "Terry" Boyer, who died Tuesday at Central Vermont Medical Center. He was 53.
Mr. Boyer was born in Barre, Vt., and lived in Santa Cruz for several years.
He owned and operated Metropolitan Consumer Collection Services in Watsonville for many years.
Mr. Boyer graduated from Marian High School in Barre and later attended the University of Vermont in Burlington.
His lived in Santa Cruz after his first marriage, to Cari Carmella Barraco. He married Susan Desiree Cherry in 1989 in Monterey, and the couple lived in Santa Cruz, and later in Hollister.
Mr. Boyer was an avid Los Angeles Dodger fan.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Boyer of East Barre, Vt.; son Jeffrey Howard Boyer of East Barre; daughter Stacy Alison Boyer of Santa Cruz; sister Leslie Jeanne McBride of Sunnyvale; and two nieces.
His stepfather, Alexander Brown Jr., and his brother, David Alexander Brown, died before him.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Hope Cemetery in Barre City.
Contributions are preferred to the American Heart Association, 12 Hurricane Lane, Williston, Vt. 05495.
Arrangements are by Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home.

EAST BARRE - Terrence Alan "Terry" Boyer, 53, of Dennison Drive, died July 2, 2002, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
He was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Barre, the son of Arnold Jordan and Doris Lorraine (Lefebvre) Boyer.
He graduated from Marian High School in Barre in 1966 and attended the University of Vermont in Burlington.
He married Cari Carmella Barraco. They lived in Santa Cruz, Calif. They later divorced.
He married Susan Desiree Cherry in Monterey, Calif. They lived in Santa Cruz and Hollister, Calif.
Mr. Boyer owned and operated the Metropolitan Consumer Collection Services in Watsonville.
He moved to Vermont in 2000.
He was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers baseball fan.
Survivors include his wife of East Barre; a son, Jeffrey Howard Boyer of East Barre; a daughter, Stacy Alison Boyer of Santa Cruz; a sister, Leslie Jeanne McBride of Sunnyvale, Calif.
His stepfather, Alexander Brown Jr., and a brother, David Brown, are deceased.
A graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Hope Cemetery in Barre.
