ADAMS FUNERAL SERVICES TUESDAY
Susanville, Calif., March 22
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday afternoon in the White Memorial Chapel for Charles Adams who died early Saturday morning in a local hospital. Rev. E.E. Wilson, pastor of the Methodist Church officiated at the services. Burial was in the Lassen Cemetery. A native of Decatur, Ill., he was 79 years old.
Mr. Adams had lived in California for 59 years and in this community for 44 years. He was a placer miner on the Feather River stock ranch and built and operated the Janesville hotel. he was also employed by the Western Pacific company.
Surviving are a son, Irvin Adams of Susanville, a daughter, Mrs. Viola Ray of Oakland, and four sisters in Illinois.
