Clinton S. Morrison's first marriage was 27 March, 1928, to Vivian Louise Byers, who was born in Wyoming, came to Iowa with her parents. Clinton & Vivian were married approx. 10 days, when she became suddenly ill and died in the Knoxville, Iowa hospital: Easter night (April 8) 1928. They had gone to visit friends near Knoxville for a brief honeymoon.

We knew him as Uncle Clint, husband of our Aunt Nina. He was born to John Morrison and wife Mary F. (Dean)... Marriage 06 April, 1929, to Nina Irene Long, his 2nd marriage, her 1st marriage.
Clint was a lifelong resident of Lucas County, a farmer who worked hard to make a living for himself, wife and two daughters: Virginia and Geraldine.
Clint was a very strong and brave man; when a farm machinery accident claimed his hand, he calmly wrapped his arm, walked back to the house, got into his truck and drove himself to the doctor! He worked the farm for many years after this accident happened, always doing his own chores.

Daughter Virginia had cancer and passed away in 1982.

Clint died as a result of a heart condition. Wife Nina survived him and moved from the farm to a home in Russell, where she lived until her death in 2003 at the age of 96 years. Daughter Geraldine (Morrison) Becker also survived Clint, along with several grandchildren.
