Mrs. Augusta FEAR, 83, Argos, died at 7:44 a.m. today in Miller's Merry Manor nursing home in Plymouth where she had been a patient five months. She had been in failing health three years.
She was born Sept. 17, 1891 in Green township of Marshall county to Lewis and Sarah WARNER ABAIR. She married Dilas FEAR in 1910; he died in 1934. She was a lifetime resident of the Argos area.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Opal) BOWELL, Argos, and Mrs. Mary SLABAUGH, Bourbon; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. A daughter, Mrs. Zella HOOKER, preceded in death.
Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grossman funeral home in Argos with Pastor Daniel P. TALBOT officiting. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.Wednesday, April 23, 1975
