Services for William Fredrick "Fred" Trotter, 75, of Wills Point were held at 1 p.m. November 14, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Don Myers officiating.
Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
Mr. Trotter passed away early Thursday morning, November 10, 2011, in Dallas.
He was born February 19, 1936, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of William F. Trotter and Alma Johnson Trotter. He was raised in Springfield and graduated from Willard High School in 1954. Fred was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Patricia Wilson in 1961 in San Diego, California and later married Sandra Kilgore on October 22, 1983, in Rockwall. Fred was a plumber for Max Mechanicals in Sunnyvale, retiring in 2001. Fred lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point 25 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra Trotter on April 13, 2011; three brothers, Freeman Trotter, Wilbur Trotter and James Trotter and two sisters, Wanda Saker and Nina Lindsey.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff Trotter, Mickey Kilgore; daughters, Lisa Chartrand, Cheryl Boyd, Terry Rogers and husband, Ron; brother, Max Trotter and wife, Ann; sister, Betty Weatherman; grandchildren, Ashley Rogers, Amanda Rogers, Cory Kilgore, Courtney Kilgore, Ambre, Erica, Sarah, Lauren and Hannah Chartrand; great-grandchildren, Maddox Reid Meredith, Kamryn Kilgore, Avarey Kilgore and Cadeyn Kilgore.
