WAYCROSS -- Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Wright "Lizzie" Blalock, 94, died Feb. 26 at Satilla Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Gilmer County and a resident of Pierce County most of her adult life.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bristol Baptist Church. She was the widow of William Fletcher Blalock.
SURVIVORS: a daughter, Betty Johnston of Waycross; a son, Royce Blalock of Waycross; six grandchildren, Terrolyn Altman, Nina Crosby, Kathy Robinson, Rhonda Osborn, Carla Thornton and Connie Horowitz; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Pearson Funeral Home in Blackshear.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Sunday at Bristol Baptist Church, burial in Bristol Cemetery.
REMEMBRANCES: Bristol Baptist Church Building Fund.
