The Northfield news. Pub. Date October 1, 1892

Mrs. Emily Jones, wife of Alex. Jones, Faribault, died at the residence of her father, Luke Cheney, in this

place, Monday. She had been suffering from consumption for some time, and came to her father's home a short time ago. She leaves a husband and four children. The funeral, which was very large, took place Wednesday at the Church of the Holy Cross, Rev. Edward Moyres officiating. The interment was in Groveland cemetery.
