CONWAY - Archie Monroe Baker, 66, of Aynor died about 8:30 this morning at his home following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Aynor Methodist Church with the Rev. R. N. Wells officiating, assisted by the Rev. O. H. Crawford and the Rev. B. I. Raines. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Marion.
Mr. Baker was born in Marion County, on June 6, 1885, a son of the late James Robert and Mary Monroe Baker. He had made his home at Aynor for the past 11 years. He was a member of the Aynor Methodist Church and a member of the adult class of the Aynor Methodist Church Sunday school.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Floyd Baker of Aynor; one daughter, Mrs. L. B. Parks of West Columbia; one brother, J. R. Baker of Marion; and 1 granddaughter.
