Laura Hudgens Bomann, 67, died in the Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis Saturday.

She was born in Du Quoin in 1883, and had lived in St. Louis for about 39 years.

She was married in 1908 to Jewell D. Hudgens, who preceded her in death in 1927. She was married in 1941 to Walter H. Bomann, who survives. She also leaves one son, Forrest D. Hudgens, St. Louis; one brother, Eddie Fulford, Ava; and three sisters, Mrs. Ida Bartlett, Ava, and Mrs. Ollie Boone and Mrs. Lydia Crisler, both of St. Louis. One son, Eugene Hudgens, died in infancy.

She was a member of the Third Baptist Church of St. Louis.

Friends may call at the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava until the hour of services. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ava, the Rev. Marion Barringer officiating, assisted by the Rev. J. W. Patterson. Burial will be in the Ava Evergreen cemetery.
