Age 89 of Waco, died Sunday at a local nursing home. Services at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wilkirkson-Hatch Chapel with Rev. R. C. Hallman, Jr. and Rev. W. Gardiner Ellis officiating. Burial at Rosemound Cemetery.
Born August 18, 1906 in Arkansas. Resident of Waco since 1942. He drove street cars and city buses until his retirement. His wife Gladys preceded him in death in 1980. Member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son H. Jeff Bailey, Jr. of Fairfield, Calif.; sister Virginia Strickland of Margan, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 4 great[grandchildren.
