Mrs. Jessie Sevedge, 42, district president of VFW Auxiliary died at her home on the Charlestown Rd., following a seven weeks' illness. Surviving are her husband, Chester Sevedge Sr.; three sons, Chester Jr of USS Oklahoma, and Wayne and Wallace Sevedge; four daughters, Misses Kathlyn, Wanda, Marjorie, and Barbara Sevedge; her mother, Mrs. Emma Mosier, Byrneville, Ind.; six sisters, Mrs. Betty Wheeler, London, England, Mrs. Frank Ames, Palmyra, Mrs. Leonard Harrison and Mrs. Henry Tretter, both of Byrneville, Mrs. Charles Cochran, Charlestown, Ind., and Mrs. Charles Salmon, New Albany.
