Frank Edgar Cox was the youngest son of Joseph Cox and Catherine Culbertson Cox. He married first Laura Aradane McDonald on March 7, 1900 in Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma. They had four daughters: Frances Elva Cox 1901 - 1986, Edna Delphine Cox 1903 - 1989, Frankie Aradane Cox 1907 - 2000 and Georgia Cox 1909 - 1994. After Laura's death he married Roberta Winfred "Robbie" Jones about 1914. They had three children: Robert Edgar Cox 1915 - 1986, Dena Mae Cox 1917 - 2002 and Harold Buford Cox 1919 - 1919.

RITES PLANNED FOR FRANK COX, RETIRED DRUGGIST - Services for Frank Cox, 76, of 1406 SW 29, a retired state druggist will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Piedmont Methodist church. Burial will be in the Mathewson cemetery, north of Piedmont, under the direction of the Turner funeral home in Yukon. Cox was a druggist at Piedmont and Okarche until 1938 when he retired. He died Tuesday in his home. He had been in ill health about a year and a half. Born in Ohio, he came to Oklahoma in 1890. He was a member of the Piedmont Masonic lodge and Piedmont Methodist church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs Elva Snyder, Piedmont; Mrs. Edna Hayda, Fortuna, Calif; Mrs, Frankie Knox, Detroit, Mich; Mrs. Georgia Smith, Los Angeles, Calif; and Mrs. Dena Cahill, San Francis County, California; a son, Robert, Jonesboro (Jacksboro), Texas; and a brother, L.D. Cox, 1401 N Kentucky.
