Survivors include: sons, Albert (Joanne) Hernandez Jr. of Yuma; Edward (Theda) Hernandez of Mesa; Joseph Hernandez of Phoenix; daughter, Adrienne (Hector) Gomez of Yuma; sister, Lydia (Roque) Rosas; brother, James (Cecilia) Ruiz; brother-in-law, Gene Vasquez, all of Yuma; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her parents, Ismael and Irene V. Ruiz; husband, Alberto Hernandez Sr.; sister, Delia Vasquez and grandson, Justin Lorona.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at 5:00pm at Johnson Mortuary with rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 9:00am. Final resting place will be Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include Albert, Edward and Joseph Hernandez, Hector Gomez, Rocky Rosas, and Albert Hernandez III.
Honorary Bearers include Joanne Hernandez, Theda Hernandez, Adrienne Gomez and Stella Hernandez.
