Deceased Name: Charles G. Crozier

Charles "Gordon" Crozier, a resident of Doylestown Borough since 1963, died March 22, 2008, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 75.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 44 years, Mary Ann (Bievenour) Crozier.
Born in New York, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles J. Crozier and Elizabeth (Sharpe) Crozier.
Gordon attended Julliard School of Music. He graduated from the University of Columbia and went on to obtain his master's degree from Drexel University in library science.
He worked for the Library of Philadelphia in their government documents department from 1962 to 1963, and was the head of the circulation department at Rider University for 35 years.
Upon his retirement in 1997, Gordon actively volunteered at Doylestown Hospital for five years, serving in two different positions.
He was an avid bicyclist with the Central Bucks Bicycle Club since 1973 and would cover over 100 miles a week, whether on the road or on his exercycle, until a month before his death.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Crozier is survived by his sons, Darren C. Crozier (Joanne) of Spring City, Pa., and Kevin W. Crozier (Jennifer) of Mesa, Ariz.; and his brother, S. Neal Crozier of Tempe, Ariz.
His funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, March 25, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown. Interment followed in Doylestown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bucks County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), P.O. Box 277, 1665 Street Road, Lahaska, PA 18931, in loving memory of Mr. Crozier.
