Anna was the second child of Charles P. and Mary Burns Rippel, sister of Margaret and Charles Rippel, wife of John H. Wheeler, mother of Richard and Robert Wheeler. She was a full-time mother and housewife until her children were grown. She then worked for the Sage-Allen Co. in Old Saybrook, CT for 20 years, retiring in 1977. Anna was active in the Mystic Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
