Maxine D. Sapaugh Beard was born in Turtle, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Tom and Ida (Vance) Conway.
She is survived by one son: Larry (Beverly) Sapaugh of Festus, MO; one daughter: Opal Harvey of Hartford City, IN; one granddaughter: Tiffany (Steve) Charleville of Festus, MO and three great grandchildren: Steven, Marissa and Olivia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Sapaugh; and her second husband, Houston Beard; two sons: Harold Sapaugh and Herchel Sapaugh; three brothers and one sister.
Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and feeding birds and bunnies.
The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Gary Gray.
