Services are pending at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home for Mrs. Harold Haffa, 80, of 324 Quincy St. Mrs. Haffa died early Thursday at Allen Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1895, near Marshalltown, the daughter of Jasper and Mary Rominger Hanlon. She married Harold Haffa Oct. 4 1924, in Waterloo.
She was past president and a state officer of Tent No. 16 DUV (Daughters of Union Veterans).
Survivors include her husband; two sons, retired col. Robert P. Haffa of Little Silver, N. J., and R. Gordon of Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Marylou Gaddis of Gilmore, Tex.; a brother, Homer Hanon of Bolivia, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. A. W. Lukert of 917 Lincoln.
