Rita Fayle Johnson, age 75, a native of Baytown, Texas and a resident of Heron Bay, AL for 57 years went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 7, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Ella May Fayle, her sister, Pat Hall and her great-grandson, Jonas Lyons.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 57 years, Lawrence Johnson, her four children, Flo (Reevelon) Thompson, Floyd (Rhonda) Johnson, Clay (Lisa) Johnson and Phyllis (Michael) Peters, 11 grandchildren, Le'Ann (Dave) Adkisson, Jimmy Scott, Ashley Nelson, Michael Johnson, Stephen (Tasha) Johnson, Ivy (Matt) McKinney, Joseph (Whitney) Peters, Brent Peters, Chad Johnson and Matthew Johnson, 4 great-grandchildren, Christina and Madeline Johnson, Anna Osterman and Bryahna Lyons, her sister, Nelda Holcombe, her brother, Donald Fayle, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 10, 2011 from 5 pm until 8 pm at Heron Bay First Baptist Church, funeral service will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00 am with visitation from 9 am until service time.
Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Jimmy Scott, Joseph Peters, Chad Johnson, David Adkisson, Brent Peters, Matthew Johnson and Matt McKinney.
Interment will be in Dorlon Cemetery.
