John Gasper Rhudy grew up in St. Joseph, MO. He was a close childhood friend of Jesse James and his brother. His father was a farmer who died at a young age. John was a rider for the Pony Express in Missouri. He also worked as a freighter, shipping goods from St. Joseph out to Colorado. He married Lucy Belle Robertson and owned a farm in Elbert, Colorado
He appeared to be a large man 5'9 or so, stocky build. Brown Hair, brown eyes.
He died of a heart attack.
