He was born August 20, 1916 in Lynn County, Missouri to Joseph Phillip and Iva Venable Morris. He married Vonda Ling in Salmon, Idaho. John was a member of the Murray Lions Club and a Kennecott Copper employee for 38 years. He was also a former resident of Bingham Canyon and Murray.
Survivors: wife, Vonda, Caliente, Nevada; sister, Josephine Todd, Trenton, Missouri.
Graveside funeral services Wednesday, April 22, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates 6500 So. Redwood Road. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Tuesday 7-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00-10:30 a.m.
