Funeral services for James Hixson, 72, retired farmer, who died at his residence in New Vienna at 5:50 A.M. yesterday, will be held at the Smith Funeral Home, New Vienna.
Burial in New Vienna IOOF Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Sylvia Achor Hixson, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Mercer and Mrs. Willard Lemin of New Vienna, and Mrs. Raymond Dillard of Hillsboro; two brothers, Orley of Dayton and Arthur Hixson of Washington C. H.; three sisters, Mrs. Myrta Fenner of New Vienna, Mrs. Rebecca Fenner of Hillsboro, and Mrs. Irene Frost of Palmetto, Florida and four grandchildren.
