Carroll, Mrs. Edna, 85 of Longview died Dec 31, in a local hospital. Born Feb 23, 1879 in Iowa, she moved to the Ostrander area in 1883 (actually about 1886) and had lived in the Longview, Kelso, Ostrander area since that time. She is the widow of George M. Carroll.
Surviving are 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; and a brother, George Hoover of Kelso.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in McVicker's chapel on the Hill with Dr. Ludvig Eskildsen officiating. Interment will be at Longview Memorial Park. McVicker's Chapel on the Hill is in charge.
