CLARENCE NICHOLS, 92,
West Union resident
Clarence C. Nichols, 92, of West Union, died Saturday, June 3, 1995, in Cincinnati.
He was born Sept. 29, 1902, in Mineral Springs, a son of the late Daniel and Margaret Brewer Nichols.
Preceded in death by his wife, Belva Nichols, in 1974, he is survived by two sons, Ray Nichols of Cincinnati and Frank Nichols of West Union; a daughter, Dorothy Grooms of West Union; a brother, Tony Nichols of Lynx; three sisters, Bessie Sininger of West Union, Marjorie Campton of Peebles and Imogene Nichols of Belpre; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at White Oak Church near Cedar Mills, with the Rev. Tom Brown officiating, and interment in White Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, and at the church for an hour before the services Tuesday.
