Dickinson (1833-1834) and his sister Ellen Dickinson (1842-1845). The inscriptions on the third side serve as cenotaphs, since Samuel and Ellen are buried in William Ganong Cemetery in Westland, Wayne County, Michigan. The fourth side of the monument has no inscription on it.
A date of death and place of burial have not yet been located for Oliver's wife Jerusha, although most likely she died in Tuscola County, Michigan.
