Hi - Thank you for entering early pioneer, Clara Brown, on FAG. Just read an outstanding account of her trip by wagon trail to Colorado and all the help she provided those in need in Central City, Denver and Kentucky. Thought you might show the various books she is listed in or dedicated to her story: "Heart of the Trail" by Mary Barmeyer O'Brien; "Aunt Clara Brown/Story of a Black Pioneer" by Kathleen Bruyn; "Black Women of the Old West" by Wm Loren Katz; and "Black Heroes of the Wild West" by Ruth Pelz. Keep up your wonderful work. Regards, Phyllis
