We see by the Lake City papers, an account of the death of this old timer. Mr. Bogue at one time was sheriff of Clear Creek County, and afterwards deputy under Wm. L. Campbell, late Surveyor General of Colorado. He was also largely interested in the old stage line. Of late years he has been living in Fairplay and southern Colorado and was interested in developing that section of the country. His loss will be felt in that section as he was an enterprising and live businessman.

F. N. Bogue who died about two weeks ago at Pitkin was well known to all old residents of Colorado. He was a man who always felt best when helping somebody else, and no man can ever say that he asked Bogue for what has been rendered and was not. This world would be better if there were more such noble souls as Bogue.
