Louisa Abeyta, 88, died April 3rd at St. Joseph Hospital in Del Norte, Colorado. She was born on April 17, 1896 at Garner to Repito Gonzales and Marina Maez Gonzales. Her husband Felix preceded her in death in 1982.
She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Del Norte and Holy Family organization.
Surviving are four sons, Joe and Lubin Velasquez of Del Norte; Raymond and Sammy Abeyta, Del Norte; three daughters, Mary Gallegos, Del Norte; Martha Reedy, Danville, Pennsylvania; and Jennie Lovato of Bakersfield, California; 53 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Guillermo Gonzales and Fidel Gonzales, Del Norte; and three sisters, Reyes Medina, Palmeria Fresquez and Elsie Gonzales, Denver.
Rosary was recited Friday evening with Mass conducted Saturday, April 6 at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Fr. William Connor officiating. Burial was in the Del Norte cemetery.

John Ignacio, Arthur, Jose Melaquis, Mary, and Lubin Alfonso.
