Clinton Oliver Cooley of Scottsburg, Indiana died on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 5:30 PM at his residence at the age of 92 years, 9 months and 3 days. He was born on June 20, 1915 in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Robert and Myrtle (Strouse) Cooley. He was married to Flora Mae Cooley, who preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 2004. Clinton was a retired farmer and also a former manager at the old Indiana Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, Indiana. He was a member of the Zoah Christian Church, the Scottsburgh Lodge # 572 F & AM and a life resident of Scott County, Indiana. Survivors include a son, Roger Cooley of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepson, Leon Dart of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Mildred Lord of Fairland, Indiana, four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Fleenor. Interment will be in Zoah Cemetery. Arrangements by Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
