Nellie was a daughter of Marion Alexander Shepherd and America Ulrey.

Granddaughter of John Ulrey and Mary Turner who are my gggg grandparents.

Updated info on March 11, 2016, thank you for other grave member who pointed out some info that helped me updated this..

She had a brother, Frank Clarence Shepherd who disappeared (unknown death date yet) and a baby brother who died approx 1869 Nellie and baby brother were born on the same day (so they were twins, baby brother died and Nellie lived)

Nellie married to Harvey Naden on 4 Jan 1906 in Montgomery, Jennings, Indiana but apparently they got divorced for later Harvey listed himself as divorced and then single in other documents.

Harvey married to Matilda Lillian Iness on Nov 17, 1896 and his 1st wife died about 1901 according to other ancestor members, but I can't find her death info. They had two sons, Foster H Naden and Waldorf Lawrence Naden. Someone else is working on this so I am not going to do that, I am focused on him being Nellie's first husband and want to know if they have any children.

Other grave member told me that Nellie had two childen in 1910 US census but not living, I seemed not to be able to locate that info, so want to know more details on that.

Later, Nellie married to Edward N. Baker on 3 May 1913 in Pasco, Franklin, Washington. Nellie passed away before Edward, so not know where Edward went.
Censuses seem to show that they have no children.

Edward N Baker's last known residence was in Fergus Falls, Minnesota as Postmaster in 1940, according to census of 1940 but not know where he died yet.

Got her obituary but no children :( info (I am kin to GGGG Grandparents, John Ulrey and Mary Turner, that is why Nellie interests me :) )

I talked to County Museum in Lake of the Woods phone number: 218-634-1200 as my source: they just read the obituary over the phone so what I got:

Mrs. Baker died Monday morning
Mrs. Nellie Baker, respected wife of postmaster, Edward Baker of Graceton died at her home.
Tuesday morning, Feb 19,1935 of a complication of diseases.
She survived by her husband and one brother, Frank Shepherd of Indiana.
Of a retiring disposition, she was beloved bythose who knew her. Funeral Services are being conducted as we go to press in the Graceton church and are in charge of Reverend Clarence Hanseon. Mrs. Baker was 66 years of age.

Notes to myself and other researchers :) >>>>

now I know her brother, Frank Clarence Shepherd was still living in 1935 at the time of Nellie's death and I also asked Museum if there was Edward Baker being buried near Nellie, no info on him at all. He just disappeared.

UPDATED on Oct 11, 2017, her husband Edward Baker's death place provided by other grave member :) now I need Nellie's children and where did brother Frank Shepherd go?

Updated: other grave member June Storey number:48426176 sent me this info about her second husband Edward Baker
Edward Nicholas Baker was Nellie's second husband and his only wife. He was the son of Nicholas Baker and Elizabeth Wilson. As far as I can see they had no children. Edward passed away April 14, 1943 in Hennepin County, Minnesota. I found a death record but no tombstone or cemetery records. He was born March 29, 1869 in Illinois. Edward was my Great Grandma Emma Baker Elder's brother.
